Biography

Sarah Brogdon received her BA in psychology from Emory University, her Masters in Clinical Social Work from Atlanta University and her JD from Emory University School of Law.  She has been in private practice in forensic mental health for over 25 years, with a focus on providing information and guidance to adults in the area of divorce.  She gives talks on legal aspects, child issues, and parenting in divorce in community, mental health, and legal venues.

Services Offered

Sarah Brogdon provides individual psychotherapy and relationship counseling.  In the divorce area, she is a Co-Parenting Counselor (voluntary), a Parent Coordinator (court-ordered), a divorce consultant, and she helps parents craft their own age-appropriate and legally-sufficient Parenting Plans.  Custody evaluations services are also offered.  Additionally, Sarah Brogdon participates in Collaborative divorces as either a parental Coach or a Child Specialist.

Fees and Insurance

An hourly fee of $300 is charged.  Payment by cash or check is expected at the time of service, unless a Retainer has been received in advance.

 Billing for monies paid is always available upon request.  Sarah Brogdon is not on any insurance panels.  If the service provided is individual psychotherapy, you may use the billing provided to seek insurance reimbursement.  Most forensic services are not reimbursed by healthcare insurance companies.

Hours Available

Her usual hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:30am-6:30pm.
